Restless Leg Syndrome

By: Ron Kosloff

RLS is another one of those medical professions designations of “we don’t know what causes it but were going to give you a drug that can treat the symptom.” Again there is no such thing as Restless Leg Syndrome. It can be prevented if you practice sound nutritional principals.

I had an individual come to me and say: “I have RLS what can I do?” I told this individual number one: you have to start absorbing your minerals! It comes back to digestion. If your stomach acid isn’t high enough you will not absorb minerals, especially Calcium. It is the tranquilizer of the bodies’ nerve endings. If you don’t have enough Calcium you’re going to be a nervous person. Vince and Rhea Blair used to say: “I’ll give you some Calcium and that’ll calm you right down.” Were not getting enough Calcium to begin with, and in addition were not absorbing the Calcium we are getting. Secondly: you have to look at the only gland in the human body that does one thing and one thing only it helps absorb Calcium. It’s called your parathyroid.

If your parathyroid isn’t working you’re going to have a Calcium problem. When you lack Calcium you’re legs are going to be aching and they are going to be nervous. They might feel like they are on fire and you won’t be able to sleep well. This is referred to as RLS (restless leg syndrome). Furthermore, you need to get enough oxygen into your blood stream (and were not). That’s why I tell people to take liver tablets to increase oxygen intake. You might also consider using food grade hydrogen peroxide to increase your oxygen levels. Note: Vince always said “When you work out hyperventilate on the 15-20 second you are resting between each set to oxygenate your body. This is what you have to do. One of the reasons why you take liver tablets is because it contains cytochrome C. I’m sure you’re asking what Cytochrome C does for the body. It draws more oxygen into the body because it contains an iron bonding amino acid. Why?

If you’re shy in iron you’re going to be shy in oxygen because iron picks up oxygen. I gave liver tablets along with digestive enzymes to this one gentleman who was having real severe problems with RLS. I also got him on food grade hydrogen peroxide. It is also very important to get plenty of Vitamin E. Why do you need plenty of Vitamin E? After Iron picks up the oxygen it throws it to Vitamin E to carry through the extremities. If you do these few simple nutritional things you won’t have Restless Leg Syndrome anymore. You won’t have to take another pill prescribed to you by a medical doctor. Among the many side effects of drug that medical doctors give you for RLS is it causes liver toxicity and nerve damage. Everything about the human body always comes back to nutrition. The human body absorbs the nutrients it needs, and the medical profession knows nothing about this because they do not study nutrition.
